Ingredients
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 ½ lbs Ground turkey
½ lb (2 c.) uncooked elbow macaroni
½ cup Minced onion
½ cup Chopped red bell pepper or celery (or pepper AND celery – Kris)
2 8-oz Cans tomato sauce
1 cup Water
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ teapsoon pepper
1-1 ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
1) In a large sauté pan, heat olive oil. Brown the meat and remove. Wipe out the pan, and add a little more oil. When it’s heated, sauté the macaroni and the vegetables until the onion is soft. Return the browned meat to the pan and add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
