1 1/2 tsp Canola oil
1 Med onion, thinly sliced
1 clove Garlic, crushed
1/4 tsp. White pepper
1/4 tsp Salt
3 cups Fresh broccoli flowerets
1 lb. Fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
2 tbsp. Lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp Sugar
Preparation
1. Heat a large skillet. Add the oil. Cook the onions, garlic, pepper, and salt for about 5 minutes, until onions are soft.
2. Add the broccoli and asparagus and stir to coat over high heat. Add the lemon juice and sugar. Saute for about 5 minutes, until the veggies are tender. Arrange on a plate in the shape of a bouquets of flowers.
