Easy and yummy.

Ingredients

2 Large apples, cored and cut in half

2 tsp Lemon juice

4 tsp Brown sugar

4 tsp Oatmeal

Spectrum Naturals Canola Spray Oil with Butter flavor

1/8 cup Water

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Treat an ovenproof dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Place apples cut-side up in the prepared dish. Brush 1 tsp lemon juice over each apple. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and oatmeal; evenly divide over the apples. Mist the top of the apples with spray oil. Add water to the bottom of the baking dish. Bake for 35 minutes or until apples are fork tender. Serve hot or cold.

Cook's Notes

I didn't buy the spray oil so I just dotted a few pea-sized margarine bits on top of the apples and that worked just fine.
