5 ingredient sweet n sour chicken
Ingredients
2 teaspoon Peanut or vegetable oil
1 1/2 to 2 pounds Boneless chicken, cut into 1 inch pieces
one 11 oz Can crushed pinapple in juice
1/4 cup Apricot preserves
1/4 Hoisin sauce
Preparation
Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on all sides. Add the pineapple with the juice from the can, the preserves, and the hoisin sauce and bring to a simmer. Let simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens and reduces, about 5 minutes.
Serve over rice and with a side of steamed broccoli.
