Uses Bargain meat, simple one pot, make ahead, stores well
Takes time to prepare so do on day off. Eat for dinner or later in the week.

Ingredients
1-2lb Beef--boneless Chuck cut in chunks, Beef Stew Meat, or Round Steak cut in chunks if you want it lean.
Flour to coat Beef
Large Onion chopped
6 cloves Garlic minced
Enough Water to cover Beef
Beef boulion to taste
i use at Least 1-2 tsp per cup
1/4 cup Grandmas Molasses or more depends how sweet you like it.
Any type Vegetables you like
Preparation
Coat Beef w/Flour
Pour a few Tbls of oil in pot
Saute Beef till brown
Remove Beef, put on plate
Add Onion to pot and saute
Return Beef to pot w/Onion
Add Garlic and saute for just a FEW SECONDS
Add Water, Beef boulion and Molasses
Bring to boil and then simmer for at least 2 hrs or more depending on how tender you want the meat.
Check every hour for tenderness.
When meat is done add Vegetables
Remember some Vegetables take longer to cook, add them 1st then add the others when the 1st vegetables are almost cooked.
Pork can be used instead of Beef
follow the same recipe.

Can be frozen.
