I personally like the ground turkey. I have made a meatloaf using ground turkey and I use bread crumbs, A1 sauce, pepper and garlic salt. My kids love it. This sounds good though. It could be just a personal choice also. Some things are better with ground beef.

Although I have not tried this, it sounds really good. I think the reason that the previous commenter may not have liked it, is the use of the ground turkey. I have not had much success myself in subbing ground turkey for ground beef in other things. The texture is finer, and the taste, usually not quite right in dishes that call for beef.

This recipe gets 1 star for quick preparation. DO NOT MAKE THIS!! You can if you want to see for yourself but I made this tonight. The recipe seemed like it would taste really good. I substituted ground turkey for ground beef for a healthier option. After throwing everything together, it looked like vomit. When I pulled it out of the oven it LOOKED like old vomit, SMELLED like vomit, and guess what?.... it TASTED like vomit!! Kids ended up having peanut butter & jelly sandwiches while me and hubby just didn't eat (other than the nasty bites we took to taste this recipe).
