Ingredients

4 cups Frozen blackberries
1/3 cup Sugar
1 cup Orange juice

Preparation

Put all ingredients into a nonreactive pan. Heat and stir until bubbling. Lower heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10-20 minutes, until berries break down a bit and the syrup thickens. Cool slightly and serve on pancakes, ice cream, etc.

Cook's Notes

Fresh or frozen blackberries, blueberries, or strawberries can be used.
