Pasta with White Clam sauce
Preparation
heat skillet over med heat and add onions and mushrooms. saute for 5-6 min. sprinkle with flour and blend well. add wine, reserved clam juice and garlic; bring to a boil. reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened. stir in clams, evaporated milk and nutmeg. simmer for 1-2 minutes or until heated through.
just before serving, cook pasta according to pkg instructions, drain. toss with sauce and sprinkle with fresh parsley. season with pepper.
