Ingredients

½ teaspoon Garlic powder
½ teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Seasoned salt
1 pound Hamburger
1 pound Breakfast sausage
1 pound Ground pork
2 Large onions, minced
2 Large carrots, minced
1 8 ounce Can water chestnuts, minced
3 tablespoons Soy sauce
2 Eggs
3 packages Lumpia wrappers
2 tablespoons Cornstarch (for glue)

Preparation

Mix all ingredients but wrappers in a large bowl, combine well.

Mix cornstarch with water and heat in microwave until it is pasty.

Spread about 1 tablespoon meat mixture into lumpia wrapper. Wrap as tight as possible. Seal wrapper with cornstarch water. Deep fry until wrapper is brown and crunchy.

Seal in a plastic bag and freeze, these last for months and are delicious!

Cook's Notes

We have sprayed these lightly with Pam and baked them for about 15 minutes and they came out wonderfully, with a lot less work than frying.
