Ingredients

4 Rashers of Bacon
2 tblsp Oil
1 tblsp Crushed Garlic
1/2 cup Powdered Chicken Stock
1/2 cup Cream
1 Zucchini
1 tblsp Salt
400g Egg Fettucine Pasta
1/2 cup Grated Cheese

Preparation

Finely slice or dice bacon. Heat oil in a frying pan and add the garlic and bacon. Cook over a moderate heat for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until the garlic and bacon is brown.

Add the chicken stock, cream and zucchini, and simmer ever so gently for about 5 minutes while cooking the pasta.

Have a large saucepan full of boiling water and add salt. Add fettucine and stir well with a spoon or fork to separate pasta. Boil rapidly for 4-5 minutes until pasta is cooked. Drain well.

Serve fettucine in bowls and add hot sauce with bacon over pasta. Sprinkle cheese and serve with crusty bread or garlic bread.
