Smarter Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken

a lower cal version of the original. one serving is 1 1/2 cups each.

Ingredients

300 g (1/3 of 900 g pkg) fettuccine uncooked

1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips

1 1/4 cups 25% less sodium chicken broth

4 tsp Flour

1/3 cup Philadelphia light cream cheese

3 tbsp Kraft 100% light parmesan grated cheese

1/4 tsp Ground nutmeg

1/8 tsp Pepper

Preparation

cook pasta as directed on package

heat large non-stick skillet on med-high and cook chicken stirring occasionally. once chicken is cooked, remove from skillet and mix broth and flour in same skillet. stir in cream cheese, 2 tbsp parmesan cheese, nutmeg and pepper; cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. stir in chicken.

drain pasta and place in large bowl. pour chicken mixture over pasta and toss to coat. sprinkle with remaining parmesan.
