Nutritious, delicious and satisfying breakfast which prevents heart attacks and clogging of the arteries. Source of fiber, good fat (the cholesterol-lowering MUFA), vitamin E and antioxidants.

Ingredients

2 slices Wholegrain bread

Half An avocado, mashed, divided into 4 "dollops"

2 Strawberries, halved

6 tablespoons Apple puree (or applesauce)

Preparation

For each slice of bread, do the following:

- Toast the bread until slightly browned. Set aside.

- Spread 3 tablespoons of apple puree evenly.

- Top it with two dollops of mashed avocado (one on the left hand side of the bread and another on the right hand side)

- As a finishing touch, place half a strawberry on the top of each "avocado eye".

Cook's Notes

The toast would look like a sweet brown face with two yellowish green eyes and red eyeballs :)
