Blueberry Breeze Smoothie

Quick and delicious smoothie that takes minimal preparation

Ingredients

1 cup Vanilla soy milk

1/2 Large banana, chopped in pieces

1/2 cup Blueberries

3-4 Ice cubes

1 tbs Flax seed (optional)

1 Container strawberry yogurt

Preparation

Pour the soy milk in the blender, followed by the blueberries, banana and ice cubes. If desired, add flax seed on top of the mixture before topping it off with the yogurt. Puree for about 3 seconds and blend for 30-45 seconds. Add ice cubes until desired thickness is met. Makes about 16 oz.

Cook's Notes

Nothing needs to be too precise. The fruit can also be frozen, as well as frozen yogurt being used in place of normal. The yogurt I used was a container of Dannon Light & Fight Strawberry, nonfat.
