Preheat the oven at 450 degrees.
Grease a 8 or 9 inch cast iron pan.
Combine dry ingredients.
Add wet ingredients until moistured.
Turn oven down to 400 degrees.
Take pan out and sprinkle cornmeal on bottom of pan.
Pour batter into pan.
Bake 15 to 25 minutes depending on oven.
Check with toothpick.
