Chocolate is the secret ingrediant to add delicious depth of flavor to a family favorite!

Ingredients

1 Onion diced

3 stalks Celery diced

1 lb Ground meat (beef, pork, or turkey)

1 tsp. Salt,1/4 tsp. pepper, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1 jar Spaghetti sauce

1 (15 oz) can Chili beans

2 tsp Chili powder

1/8 cup Chocolate chips (or 1 square dark chocolate or 1 T cocoa powder)

Dash cinnamon

Preparation

1) Sautee onion and celery in large pot.

2) Add ground beef seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

3) Cook until browned, drain, and return to heat.

4) Add chili beans, spaghetti sauce, and chili powder.

5) Cook on low heat for 30 minutes.

6) Serve over rice or with crusty French bread.

Cook's Notes

Make-ahead hint: Pre-cook seasoned ground meat in large batches and freeze 2 cups/1 quart bag. Thaw in microwave and proceed with recipe.
