Easy Salmon Patties Recipe

Ingredients

1 15 oz. Can red or pink salmon, bones removed

2 tbs Minced onion

1 tbs. Minced fresh parsley

1 large egg

Salt, pepper, dry dillweed to taste

Some fresh squeezed lemon juice

Enough fresh bread crumbs to bind: try Japanese honey flavored Panko breadcrumbs

Oil to sauté ( peanut oil is nice )

Preparation

Combine everything and add enough breadcrumbs to bind mixture.

Form into patties. These may be made ahead of time and chilled.

Tip: chilling recommended so patties hold together better

They fry in hot oil until golden on both sides. Turning carefully

Serve with tarter sauce or mango mayo

Note: by changing the herbs and spices ( example add cilantro , ginger ) one can easily change flavor
