Saute version: Put the bacon in a large skillet on medium-heat. When it begins to sizzle, separate the slices if you haven't already and regulate the heat so that the slices brown evenly without bruning, turning frequently. Total time will be ten to twenty minutes, longer for large quantities.
Microwave version: Put three paper towels on a large place and set the bacon on top. Cover with two more paper towels. Microwave on high for two minutes, then check. Continue to microwave at one minute intervals until done, less than five minutes total.
