Baked Beans w/Ground Beef topping

Super easy and yummy. Good with bread or buns.

Ingredients

1 lbs Groud beef

1/4 cup Chopped green pepper

1/2 cup Finely copped onion

1/2 cup Sliced celery

1 can (8oz) tomato sauce

1/2 cup Water

2 Tbls vinegar

1 clove Garlic minced

1 tsp Dry mustard

1/2 tsp Thyme

1 Tbls brown sugar

Salt

Pepper

1 can (12oz) pork and beans

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375.

In a large frying pan, cook ground beef in it's own fat; add green pepper, onion, & celery,& saute until beef is brown & veggies are limp. Stir in tomato sauce, water, vinegar, garlic, mustard, tyme, brown sugar, and salt & pepper to taste. Simmer together for 5 mins. Turn pork and beans into a greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish; spoon meat mixture over the top. Bake in a 375deg oven for 45 mins.
