Great elegant dessert to take to a summer dinner or to surprise your family with!

Ingredients

1 pkg. (10 ounces) Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Shells

1 bag Frozen mixed berries

Sweetener (sugar or artificial sweetener)

1 Tub Cool Whip® (as low fat &/or sugar free as you desire)

Mint (opt)

Preparation

Bake the pastry shells according to the package directions. Remove from the baking sheet and cool on a wire rack.

Put frozen berries in a bowl and sprinkle with sweetener to taste. Place in the refrigerator a and allow to macerate (thaw & become juicy). Add more sweetener if necessary.

To serve pull the cap or center out of the pastry. Fill the center with berries and juice. Top with a dollop of Whip Cream and the cap from the pastry (kind of offset the cap). Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Makes 6 servings This is fun and the kids will love to help with this one! Nutritional facts are per serving and are calculated based on sweetening with Sweet 'N Lo and using Cool Whip Free.
