1 cup Cold non-dairy milk
2 t Cornstarch
1 1/2 t Margarine
1 t Chicken bouillon
1/2 t Salt
Dash pepper
Whisk milk and starch until blended. Stir in all other ingredients. Heat to a boil, stirring frequently. Simmer on low about 1 minute to thicken.
Cream of Mushroom: Add a drained 4 oz can of mushroom pieces or 4 oz sauteed chopped mushrooms. Cream of Chicken: Add 1/2 cup cooked, chopped chicken. Cream of Celery: Add 1/2 cup sauteed chopped celery.
