Baked Beef Ziti

Ingredients

12 oz. Uncooked ziti

2 Medium garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp. Dried oregano

1 tsp. Dried rosemary

1/2 tsp. Black pepper

1 cup 2% mozzarella cheese

1 tsp. Olive oil

1/3 lb. Lean ground beef

1 tsp. Dried thyme

1/2 tsp. Salt

28 oz. Crushed tomatoes

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°. Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, heat oil in saucepan and add garlic and sauté 2 minutes. Add beef and cook until brown. Add seasonings. Add toamtoes and bring to a boil. Spoon a small amount of tomato mixture into the bottom of casserole dish. Top with half the ziti mixture then tomato mixture, then cheese. Repeat until all ziti is gone, ending with cheese. Bake until cheese is bubbly - about 30 minutes
