A man's burger - cheap, hearty, tasty, & messy with a taste of beer.

Ingredients

1 lb Hamburger

1 can Beer (any size/brand)

1 Medium onion - sliced

1 can Mushrooms (or 1 cup fresh)

1 can Chilies

1 can Black or green olives

4 slices Swiss cheese (or other flavor)

1 pkg Large hamburger buns

Preparation

DIVIDE hamburger into 4 patties. COOK in skillet over med-high heat.

Meanwhile, SAUTE veggies (except chilies) in separate skillet over med heat in olive oil. When just about done, ADD chilies to veggies.

When hamburger patties are almost ready, ADD just enough beer to cover bottom of skillet.

Once patties are fully cooked, TOP them with veggies & COVER with cheese slices.

COVER with a lid to melt cheese.

SERVE hot with chips or other sides.

Cook's Notes

Have fun experimenting with different veggies & cheeses. Also, we just use the cheapest beer we can find.
