Ingredients

1 cup Whole wheat flour

3 cups Rolled oats

1 cup Brown sugar, packed

1/2 lb Butter, melted (16 TBSP)

1/2 cup Water

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300F. Mix the dry ingredients, along with a inch of salt. Whisk together the melted butter and the water. Pour over the dry ingredients and combine thoroughly. Spread out on baking sheets nd bake for 25-30 mins, until crisp and lightly browned. Cool on trays and store in air tight containers

Cook's Notes

Add shredded cocnut, raisins, dried cranberries, peanuts, almonds or other nuts, sunflower seeds, and spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg.
