Islander Artichoke & Spinach dip
Ingredients
2 Loaves kings hawaiian bread
1 c Mayonnaise
1 c Sour cream
1 pkg Ranch style dip mix
1 can (13-15 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 pkg (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
1 can (8 oz) sliced water chestnuts, drained and chopped
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350. Carve out center of one loaf within one inch of bottom and sides, keeping bread intact. wedge slice center bread and remaining loaf. Place bowl and breads on baking sheets and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
2. Blend mayo, sour cream, and dip mix together in a medium bowl. add artichokes, spinach and water chestnuts; mix well. cover and refrigerate until well chilled.
3. Place dip into bread bowl and serve with the toasted bread pieces
TO SERVE HOT:
stir in one cup of grated parm chz microwave on high 4-5 minutes or until hot, stirring occaisionally. Transfer dip tp bread bowl and serve with toasted bread pieces
