Barbequed Pulled Pork

Ingredients

3-4 pound Boneless pork roast (shoulder or butt)

1 teaspoon Black pepper

1 teaspoon Salt

1 teaspoon Ground cumin

1 teaspoon Paprika

1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper

1 Medium green bell pepper, sliced (I don't use the pepper)

1 Medium onion, sliced

1 jar (18 ounces) barbeque sauce (we LOVE Sweet Baby Rays)

1/2 cup Packed brown sugar

Sandwich rolls or cooked rice

Preparation

Trim excess fat from pork (no need to do this if you use the loin like I do). Combine black pepper, salt, cumin, cayenne and paprika in a bowl; rub on roast. Place green pepper and onion into slow cooker, add pork. Combine sauce and brown sugar; pour over meat. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours. Serve on rolls or over rice, if desired.
