Preparation
1. in bowl, beat egg, milk, oil. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir into egg mixture until smooth (batter will be thick).
2. Peel, core and cut apples in 1/2 inch rings.
3. In eletric skillet or deep fat fryer, heat oil to 375 degrees. Dip apple rings into batter. Fry, a few at a time, until golden brown.
4. Drain on paper towels. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over hot fritters.
