Mrs. Roberts' Corn Chowder

Ingredients

4 slices Bacon

1/2 Onion

2-3 tbsp Flour

1 can Cream soup, (celery, chicken, or mushroom)

1 can Cream of potato soup

1 can Whole kernel corn, drained

1 can New potatoes, drained and dice

4 cups Milk

Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon from pan, reserving about 3 tbsp grease. Cook onion in grease until clear. Stir in flour to absorb grease. Add soups, corn, and potatoes. Add milk slowly stirring until smooth. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often. Serve with crumbled bacon on top. Double recipe for a large group.
