Apple Sausage Breakfast Sandwhich

Easy breakfast sandwich. You can make a bunch of patties and freeze them, just reheat for a super quick breakfast.

Ingredients

1 Apple small 2 1/2"
2 tsp Butter, salted or unsalted
1 tsp Onion fine chopped
1 1/2 oz Ground pork, raw
2 tsp Honey
1/8 tsp Sage, ground
1/8 tsp Black pepper
1 English muffin, plain

Preparation

Peel and core apple; cut into wedges. Grate one apple wedge to make 1 tablespoon. Set other apple wedges aside.

Heat 1 teaspoon butter in a nonstick skillet; add onion and apple and sauté until tender.

Combine pork, honey, sage, pepper and onion-apple mixture; form into a patty.

Heat a nonstick skillet and cook patty about 3 minutes on each side or until done.

Toast English muffin and spread with remaining teaspoon of butter. Serve pork patty on English muffin.

Enjoy remaining apple wedges with breakfast sandwich
