Monte Cristo Sandwiches

Everyone loves these!

Ingredients

1/4 lb Chopped ham luncheon meat

1/4 lb Chopped turkey luncheon meat

4 oz Sliced swiss cheese chopped

1 can Grands buttermilk biscuits

1 Egg

1 tbs Milk

1/4 tsp Cinnamon

1/4 tsp Nutmeg

Powdered sugar

Raspberry jam

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine ham, turkey and cheese. Mix well. Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Press or roll each biscuit to form a 6 to 7 inch round. Place just under 1/3 cup of mixture on one side of biscuit round. Fold dough over filling and press edges with a fork to seal. Place on a cookie sheet. In a small bowl, combine egg, milk, cinnamon and nutmeg; beat well. Brush over tops of filled biscuits and bake for 12 -19 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with raspberry jam.

Cook's Notes

I use a torilla press to form the biscuit rounds. This cuts prep time in half!
