Sausage Stuffing

An easy stuffing using Pepperidge Farm stuffing from a bag. Very minimal ingredients! I only make enough for 4 servings but you could easily double or triple this recipe!

Ingredients

4 t Butter

1/2 lb Pork Sausage

1/2 bag Pepperidge Farm Stuffing

1 Medium Onion, chopped

1 Celery Stalk, chopped (with leafy greens)

2 cups Chicken Broth

1 Egg, beaten

Salt & Pepper to taste

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Add 2 T of the butter to a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and celery along with sausage. Cook until sausage has browned. Add broth and remaining 2 T butter. Bring to a boil.

In a medium mixing bowl combine stuffing and egg. Pour broth mixture over stuffing mixture and stir. Season with salt & pepper. Bake for 45 mins or until hot in the center.
