A delicious, no fuss dinner that even the kids will love.
2 lbs Lean ground beef (or substitute your choice of ground meat)
2 - 28 oz Cans of diced tomatoes (do not drain)
2 Green peppers, roughly diced
2 Med. onions, roughly diced
1 15 oz. Can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 15 oz. Can black beans, drained and rinsed
3 tbsp Chili powder
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Crushed garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Saute the ground beef until browned. Drain and add to crock pot.
2. Add all other ingredients, stir and cook 5-6 hours on high or 10-12 hours on low.
Enjoy!
Feel free to experiment with different meats, beans and veggies. I've tried many variations and it always turns out well. Leftovers freeze well.
