Great basic rice pilaf recipe...tastes better than the boxed rice mixes and is just as easy to make.

Ingredients

1/4 cup Butter or margarine

1 cup Fideo or vermicelli, broken into small pieces

1 cup Uncooked long grain rice

3 cups Water

2 Chicken flavored bouillon cubes

Preparation

Melt butter or margarine in skillet. Add and brown fideo or vermicelli. Add uncooked riced. Add water and bouillon cubes. Stir. Cover and simmer without stirring until all moisture is absorbed (15-20 mins)
