Chicken Mommiatore

Contributed By: back2mommy
Desperation

A flavorful, easy, slow-cooker version of Chicken Cacciatore.

Ingredients

Cooked Chicken, cut into chunks

1 jar Marinara Sauce

1 Large can of crushed tomato

1- 14 1/2 oz. Can of diced tomato

1 Small can tomato paste

1- 141/2 oz. Can of whole, pitted olives

1 Green Bell Pepper, diced or sliced

1 Brown or white onion, chopped

2 cloves Garlic, minced

Italian seasonings to taste

1/2 A cup of Dry, White wine (optional)

Preparation

Place all ingredients into a crock pot, turn it on and go!

Serve with cooked pasta.

Cook's Notes

For even easier prep work, I buy a whole rotisserie chicken from Costco and cut up about half of the meat & save the other half for another meal. My boys (ages 3 & 5) love to help me pour the ingredients into the crock pot.
