1. preheat broiler
2. pull out some of the bread from the center of each piece of the french bread and discard. Place the bread shells, cut side up, on the broiler rack.
3. Spread each piece with 1 TBSP pesto. Top each one with 3 slices prosciutto, half the tomatoes, and 1/4 cup cheese.
4. Boil 6 inches from the heat until the top is hot and the cheese is melted. Sprinkle each with 1/2 TBSP of the basil.
5. Cut crosswise in half, making a total of 4 pizzas. Serve
