Friendly Greek Salad

my imagination

Easy & tasty & healthy, oh my!

Ingredients

Tomatoes

Red onions

Olives-black or kalmata

Cucumbers-seeded

Feta

Your favorite italian dressing (We like Berenstein's Cheese & Garlic Italian)

Garlic powder or salt

Fresh ground black pepper

Preparation

Chop the tomatoes, onions, & cucumbers. Add all ingredients together, chill (it helps the flavors to blend, but it's good right away, too). Eat!

Cook's Notes

I didn't put any amounts for the ingredients because it's really a matter of taste. I usually put an equal amount of tomatoes & cucumbers, and not so many onions (my kids pick them out!) This salad tends to get runny if it's left in the fridge too long, so I usually only make as much as my family can eat in 2 days. It helps if you drain some of the juice off the tomatoes after chopping them.
