Creamy, thick potato soup.
8 c (8 med) diced, peeled potatoes
1/3 c Chopped onion
3 cans Chicken broth
1 can Cream of chicken soup
1/4 tsp Pepper
8 oz Cubed cream cheese
1/2 lb Sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
Snipped chives
In slow cooker, combine first five ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until potatoes are tender. Add cream cheese; stir until blended. Garnish with bacon and chives.
When using reduced fat soups, reduced fat cream cheese and no bacon, one cup equals 148 calories.
