Angel Hair Pasta with Italian Sausage and Herbs
Ingredients
1 lb Turkey italian sausage, sweet or hot with casing removed
2 tbs Olive oil
1/2 lb Button mushroom
1 1/2 cups Red onion, chopped
1 tsp Dried basil
1 tsp Garlic salt
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp Parsley flakes
1/2 tsp Fennel seed
1 lb Angel hair pasta
1/2 cup Romano cheese, grated
Preparation
Break up sausage in large skillet; cook over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes, until no longer pink inside.
Allow sausage to drain in a colander.
Wipe skillet clean.
Start pasta cooking
Heat oil in same skillet over medium heat.
Add mushrooms, red onion and all herb/seasonings; cook and stir 5 minutes.
Stir in sausage and cook additional 5 minutes.
Drain pasta and toss with sausage and cheese
