Bag 'n Season Chicken

Savor the homemade taste of chicken and vegetables that are tender and juicy. This complete meal is takes just minutes to prepare and cleanup's easy, too.

Ingredients

1 package McCormick® Bag 'n Season® Chicken

2 1/2 pounds Chicken parts

4 cups Cut-up fresh vegetables -- such as potatoes and green beans

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F. Arrange opened Roasting Bag in 13x9-inch baking pan. Rinse and pat dry chicken. (Skin may be removed, if desired.) Sprinkle Seasoning Mix over chicken; coat evenly. Place chicken in single layer in bag. Add vegetables.

Close bag loosely with nylon tie. Cut 4 small holes in top of bag to allow steam to escape.

Bake in lower half of oven 50 to 55 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve chicken and vegetables with juice. Juice may be thickened for gravy.

Cook's Notes

IMPORTANT: Allow 8 inches for bag to expand while cooking. Roasting bag should not touch oven walls or racks. For boneless skinless chicken breasts: Use 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts. Continue as directed.. For whole chicken: Use 3 to 3 1/2 pound whole chicken in place of chicken parts. Continue as directed. Bake about 1 hour 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
