Ingredients

1 tbsp. Olive Oil
1 lb. Boneless sirloin steak -- cut into 1-inch cubes
1 Envelope Onion Soup Mix
1 cup Water
2 tbsp. Tomato paste
1 can New potatoes -- (14-1/2 oz.) drained and cut into chunks
1 package Frozen peas and carrots -- (10 oz.) thawed

Preparation

In 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat Olive Oil over medium-high heat and brown steak.

Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat.

Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered 10 minutes or until steak is tender.

this was really easy. i doubled the recipe and also made dumplings to go on top. i used regular potatoes that i diced and stuck in there -- next time i think i will boil the potatoes first because i had to cook the stew for awhile to get the potatoes tender. i also added an extra cup of water since i needed the stew to cook for awhile it lost some liquid but i also added a can of beef gravy towards the end to up the beef flavor. overall pretty good.
