4 Potatoes (our family loves red potatoes), sliced
1 Small onion diced
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons Butter
3 tablespoons Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 cups Milk
1 bag Shredded cheese - We like monterey and chedder
Preheat oven 400 degrees
Butter cassarole dish
boil potatoes until semi hard
In saucepan, melt butter and sautee onions
add milk, flour, and salt to onion mixture
bring to a boil, remove from heat
add cheese
mix in potatoes
bake
My kids love this dish. When I ask what they want for supper, they yell AuGratin Potatoes at least once a week.
