Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo

A creamy alfredo sauce combined with garlic sautéed shrimp makes for a delicious family fun dinner!

Ingredients

Alfredo Sauce

1 pint Heavy Cream

1 stick Butter

2 tbsp. Cream Cheese

1/2 - 3/4 C. Parmesan cheese

1 tsp. Garlic powder

Sautéed Shrimp

1 lb Raw shrimp, shelled and deveined

1 stick Butter, not margarine

3-4 tbs EVOO

4 Minced garlic cloves

Salt and pepper to taste

Fettuccine Noodles

Preparation

Alfredo Sauce

In a saucepan, combine butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese. Simmer this until all is melted, and mixed well. Add the Parmesan cheese and Garlic powder. Simmer this for 15 - 20 minutes on low. You may wish to season with a little salt and pepper.

Sautéed Shrimp

Slowly melt the butter with the EVOO. Once melted, turn the heat up to med.high and add the garlic. Get a nice aroma going and toss in the shrimp. Cook shrimp until pink and drain.

Cook fettuccine noodles according to the directions on the box.

Add cooked shrimp to the Alfredo sauce, then toss the cooked fettuccine noodles in with the sauce and shrimp.

Cook's Notes

Make sure you ALWAYS watch and stir the alfredo sauce so it does not burn.

If there was ever an aphrodisiac , this is it!!!! What a scrumptious meal to have with your significant other!! The alfredo sauce is out of this world... Hats off to this meal
