This recipe calls for Salmon steaks but when I went to the grocer all they had was some beautiful shark steaks and I liked that better.
1) Basically mix your Mayo with your lemon pepper. You need enough to cover your steaks both sides. Slather it on to get good coverage, this means the sides too. Use the lemon pepper to your taste. Start at 1 TSP and work your way up.
2) Next put the steaks in your broiler. First side 5 minutes then turn them over then 3 more minutes on the second side. They should be done.
If they need more time. Turn them over again and put more mayo / lemon pepper. You dont want bare fish facing that broiler make sure your steaks are coated. Give it another minute or two, you dont want to dry your steaks out.
