This is an EASY recipe that only takes as long to cook as it does to cook rice. Based on a previous comment, I cut the onion soup mix back to 2 T instead of 3 and I added an extra cup of cooked rice to make it go a little further. I have two picky eaters who both loved this dish. My daughter said, "Mom, this dinner is galishous." Good enough endoursement for me to fix it again! My husband and I liked it enough to repeat it although it certainly isn't our favorite meal.

This was an easy recipe to make. It was pretty salty between the bacon and the onion soup mix. My husband liked it.
