Crock-pot baked beans

This is great for crowd!

Ingredients

3lbs. Navy beans

4 Qts. water

1/2 lb. Bacon,low salt

1 cup Onion,chopped

1/2 cup Molasses

11/2 cup Catsup

1/2 cup Brown sugar

4tsp. Dry mustard

Preparation

Wash and pick over beans.

Cook bacon and put in bottom of crock-pot.

Sprinkle a little salt over bacon.

Put in your beans and then cover with water.

Cook on low for 14-16 hours.

When beans are tender, drain bean liquid.

Reserve 4 cups.

Combine liquid,molasses,catsup,brown sugar,and mustard.

Add to beans in crock pot; stir well

Cook for 6-8 hours longer.

Cook's Notes

This called for salt pork, but I use good quality bacon with low fat.
