Ingredients

1 Packaged mix of French's Beef Stew

2 lbs Stew beef

Onions

Celery

Potatoes

Carrotts

Preparation

One of the most important things is to brown the floured meat slowly and well with the onions and celery, add a cup, of the 3cups water to your skillet so that all the good brown pieces loosen, put in your crock-pot (this is actually the secret to making it really good), mix the mix in the other 2 cups of water and pour over the meat and stir well, the last hour add the vegetables. I sometimes par boil the vegetables to hasten the cooking time.
