Greek Feta Gyros

Ingredients

1 lb. Beef stir-fry strips

2 tsp. Greek seasoning

1 tbs. Vegetable oil

1 cup Crumbled feta cheese

1/2 teaspoon Dried mint

1 container (8 ounces ) low-fat plain yogurt

1 Large clove garlic, finely chopped

1 cup Shredded, seeded cucumber

1/4 teaspoon Salt

6 Regular-size pita breads, split open to form pockets

3 Plum tomatoes, thinly sliced

Preparation

1. Cut beef into small pieces and toss with Greek seasoning.

2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add beef, half at a time, and cook, stirring 2 to 3 minutes or until browned.

4. Combine yogurt, garlic, cucumber and salt in a small bowl.

5. Place beef in pitas with tomatoes, cucumbers and feta. Garnish with mint if desired. Serve with yogurt sauce.

Cook's Notes

You could substitute lamb for the beef.
