Preheat oven to 180c
Finely chop bacon. Heat oil in plan & cook chopped bacon until almost crisp.
Grease the bottom & sides of 4 ramekins. Place one egg into each ramekin, being careful not to break the yolks. Place bacon pieces evenly around the egg. Season with salt & pepper.
Cut a sheet of pastry to the shape of the top of the ramekins, allowing 2cm extra iver the edge for shrinkage when baking. Place the pastry on top of the ramekin, using a pastry brush, coat the pastry with egg yolk.. Spike small holes into the pastry.
Bake in the oven at 180c for 15 minutes or until the eggs have set. Serve warm.
