I have a very unique way of cutting bananas. It just doesn't taste the same to me if they're slice into rounds.

Ingredients
1 package Instant oatmeal (any flavor)
1/3 cup Water
3 Strawberries
1/4 cup Blueberries
1 Small banana
Whipped cream
Cinnamon
Preparation
Put the oatmeal and water in a microwave-safe bowl and nuke it for 70 seconds.
Meanwhile, core and dice the strawberries.
Place the banana on its side and slice it in half the long way, following the curve. With the open sides up, run a knife along the length of each half to cut the banana into four long strips. Cut just the banana this time, not the peel. Likewise, dice the banana by cutting it perpendicular to the first cuts.
Take the oatmeal out of the microwave. Pick up each half of the banana and let the cubed pieces fall into the bowl on top of the oatmeal. Add the blueberries and strawberries. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Cook's Notes
I am very insistent that my oatmeal be microwaved for 70 seconds and my banana be cut in this fashion. If you have other preferences, do it your way, but with the understanding that it will not be the same oatmeal experience that I've grown to love.
