Oats with Turkey Bacon

Ingredients

8 slices Turkey bacon

4 cups Milk

1 1/2 c. Rolled oats

2 c Blueberries (thawed in frozen)

1/2 c Slivered almonds

3 tb Maple syrup

Preparation

1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.

2. Add turkey bacon and saute until crisp, 3 minutes, turning frequently.

3. Bring milk to boil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the oats. bring the mixture back to a boil and reduce heat. Simmer until the oatmeal is tender and has absorbed most of the milk, 8 minutes.

4. Portion into four bowls and add equal amounts of blueberries, almonds, and maple syrup to each bowl. Serve w/ 2 slices of turkey bacon on the side.
