Ingredients

1 tablespoon Liquid oil or margine
1/4 cup Chopped onion
1/2 cup Chopped celery
1 cup Sliced mushrooms
1 pound Skinless chicken pieces
1/4 teaspoon Sage
1/2 cup White wine
1 cup Skim milk
1 tablespoon Flour
1/4 teaspoon White pepper
14 teaspoon Salt, optional.

Preparation

In saucepan, saute onion, celery, and mushrooms in margarine until tender. Add chicen and sage, cooking for 5 more minutes. Pour in wine and cook for 5 more minutes, allowing liquid to evaporate. In shaker container, combine flour and milk. Slowly stir into sauce, cooking 3 minutes or until thick. Stir in salt and pepper. Serve over tender cooked thick noodles.
